La obra performática LA CAÍDA, establece una relación con la privación de los sentidos a través del enredo con lana alrededor de la cabeza. La auto-privación de los sentidos es un intento de conexión con el estado interno de escucha. Dentro de la acción escribo una cifra monetaria en mi abdomen buscando visibilizar la dinámica de compra y venta de obras y la crítica hacia el mercado del arte. ¿Cuánto puede llegar a costar un cuerpo en un sistema monetario? Esta obra fue presentada en Salida de Emergencia, en Cuenca durante la Residencia Artística Cuarto Aparte en el 2018 y la Bienal de Cuenca 2018.

The performative work LA CAÍDA establishes a relationship with the deprivation of the senses through entanglement with wool around the head. Self-deprivation of the senses is an attempt to connect with the inner state of listening. Within the action I write a monetary figure on my abdomen seeking to make visible the dynamics of buying and selling works and criticism of the art market. How much can a body cost in a monetary system? This work was presented at the Emergency Exit, in Cuenca during the Fourth Apart Artistic Residence in 2018 and the 2018 Cuenca Biennial.
